Farm and Ranch Living Magazine

If anyone gets Farm and Ranch Living Magazine , our farm was featured in the "diary" section of this month's issue. Last October, I kept a month long diary of everything that happened on the farm, and a photographer came out a couple of times to take some pictures. I wish I could share the article with those of you who don't subscribe to it, but it's not online! There is a link to a few of the pictures that didn't make the diary though...Farm Pictures.

I just noticed that this was my 100th post, so I think that means I should have a giveaway...stay tuned!

Oh, and by the way, if you found my blog from my Farm and Ranch Living diary...Welcome!!

  4. I encourage all of you to get a copy of Stephanie's diary in F&R and read it. I thought she told us A LOT about farming HERE, but she goes into even more detail. It sounds like they don't get much sleep around that place. Of course the diary is from Oct. 2009 so maybe they've improved their sleep schedule since then. LOL! Thanks Steph for sending the diary to me. ((HUGS))

  9. I read your diary in Farm and Ranch Living and found your blog! I just moved to Alabama for my husband's school and have been missing farm life, so it was great to read your article and learn more about farming in Alabama. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Just read your diary in Farm & Ranch and wanted to check out your blog. I live outside Chattanooga and never knew anyone grew cotton or peanuts on Sand Mountain!

  12. Enjoyed your F&R diary! Especially the big out "getting 4 chicken barns for an anniversary present." We are small dairy farmers in SC, neither of us have off farm jobs, so it feels like your life is much like ours.
