Goodbye Childhood...

Well I'm finally doing it...I'm being forced to going to sell my car. I've had it since I was 15, so I'm quite attached to it. It took me to high school, college, my first job...It's even made more laps around Talladega Superspeedway than Ken Schrader. Unfortunately the only Mustang that really belongs on a farm should have 4 legs and neigh. As soon as I sell it, I'm going to buy the 4-Runner that Lance's Dad is selling. He just bought a new Tacoma, which I have been wanting forever, but cannot afford. Unfortunately, we do not farm money trees. On the bright side, at least I can drive the 4-Runner to the field and chicken houses, and I'll be able to haul stuff in the back. It can also be classed as a "Farm Vehicle" which gets an insurance discount. So, I spent all afternoon cleaning it, inside and out. So, heres a farewell picture ...try not to cry *sniff sniff*

Here's a few more pictures from today....

This is Lance bushogging some corn stalks!

This is the progress the tree guys made today!

  2. Aaaaugh!!! I was drooling over Mustangs a few weeks ago when my sister was buying her new Escape!! You can't just park it somewhere and drive it on the weekends?? I'm sure the chickens would love riding in style...

  3. That is a gorgeous car for as old as it is. You should get a good price for it if you can find anyone with $$ to buy it! Really enjoying your blog!! ((HUGS))

  7. Oh man, I remember that car too.
I remember when I had to scrap mine. I left it at a junkyard after I totaled it. It was sad day.
