Nuff Said.
Ok, I will say a little more. I haven't had much spare time to blog lately, between the trips to the hospital, getting the chicken houses ready for baby chicks, and getting the house ready for Reed to come home! Yep, they can release him any time now, just waiting on the doc's orders! He will be a month old on Wednesday (my birthday!) and weighs almost 5 lbs. He takes a bottle every 4 hours and is drinking around 45-50 ccs (30 ccs is 1 ounce). Anyways, I'll be quiet and let yall look at these cute pics!
How precious. Aren't babies amazing? You will hold him and study him for hours. How happy you must be to be taking him home. I'm happy for you! Reed has been blessed to be born into a home with good parents and a good future in farming! :D
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty excited to find out that our daughter (Retro Farm Wife) is expecting too!
Our first! How exciting. Bet y'alls parents will be glad to help with little Reed.
Enjoy!
Deb
He is so adorable. My favorite picture is the one of Reed sucking his thumb with his big bright eyes wide open. He is just precious.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you that you can finally bring him home.
Best Wishes!
What a cutie- LOVE that he found his thumb! LOVE EVEN MORE that you HENRY'D him!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how excited you guys are to get him home and to yourselves, I remember the feeling well. I'm thrilled the day is arriving, and your family will be together. Happy homecoming, Reed!!
Oh my! He is so sweet!! Look at that little face!! Wouldn't that be the best birthday present ever to bring him home on (or before!) your birthday!! Take Care.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, sweet baby! Can't wait for you to bring him home. My girl was 6 weeks early and I would go visit her at the hospital for about a month before she got to come home. She's now a big, strong 11 year old :) So happy you get such a wonderful gift for your birthday to have him home with you!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! So happy for you that he is doing well and ready to come home.
ReplyDeleteReed is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! Get lots of good rest before he comes home.
Henry just can't stand to be left out, bless his heart.
Yep, these are some cute pictures. He looks great and I'm so glad y'all will be able to bring him home soon!
ReplyDeleteLovely little guy. Good to see him doing so well. Just needed a bit more time...
ReplyDeleteOf course you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him with the sock monkey!
ReplyDeleteI hope Reed got to come home for your birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY a little late BTW-I know it was your best one yet. Good to see Henry is taking his babysitting duties to heart-too cute. ((HUGS)) to them both!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from Alabama Slacker Mama. Just wanted to say congratulations on that sweet baby boy. So glad he's doing better!
ReplyDeleteI love the John Deere stuff! We did a John Deere nursery for our oldest son, now 9. My husband doesn't currently farm, but he used to, and he's still involved in agriculture, as he has his own business as an ag & heavy equipment mechanic. I look forward to reading your blog. I think we probably have a lot in common! Oh, BTW, I'm in south Alabama.
Hi! I found your blog from Alabama Slacker Mama. I was looking at the pic of your son in his blue crocheted NICU hat. (My son was born at 29 weeks). I thought, "Man that hat looks familiar!" My son had one just like it from his stay in the NICU. Turns out, we were at the same NICU! We're from Boaz. Connor was at Huntsville from mid June to the end of July. BTW, he's almost four months and still grunts all the time! Hope your little one is doing well!
