Ok, so since we went in June, this may be a little behind, but I wanted to share it with you anyways!
We, of course, took the obligatory family picture with the park sign.
Here is our cabin. It was in the middle of nowhere on top of a mountain in Wears Valley, which is between Pigeon Forge and Townsend.
It had a great view, and we loved the way it was decorated!
This is a picture of the kitchen, which was very well furnished.
Reed's room was in the loft. He had these cute twin beds, his own bathroom, and a foos ball table. Too bad he couldn't use them, lol.
Lance's parents also came with us to help with Reed.
Since they came, Lance and I got to do some atv riding!
We took an 11 mile, 1 1/2 hour ride.
We rode up and down rocky trails, and crossed swollen, muddy creeks. It was great!
When we weren't tearing up the trails, we hung out at the
cabin.
Reed always seemed to be enjoying himself!
We also went to Cades Cove! We picnicked,
and then we rode around Loop Road! Reed got to see deer, horses, turkeys, and a crow!
We had a great time!
I've always wanted to do those things. Glad you didn't run into a black bear! Pretty scenery. Nice your in-laws were willing to help.
